Happiness

Giving back to my community makes me happy and knowing that you can make a difference in the lives of others fuels my passion. As result, the Crystal C. Chavez Foundation is taking time to re-examine the state of education in El Monte and the San Gabriel Valley and seeking answers to some questions below:
-How can we help more young people attend and graduate college?
-Are military families being served?
-What lessons can be learned from attempts of education reform, college initiatives, and other educational nonprofits?
-How are schools doing their part to close the education gap?
-In what ways can we say 'thank you' to our teachers?

We look forward in partnering with the public in order to better serve our community's youth.
Unfortunately, the 2012 CCC Foundation Scholarship will not be offered this year in the process of our strategic planning and reflection period. Please check back with us next year.

Create your own happiness today and as always, keep marching onward in reaching your American Dream.
