Fundraisers set for soldier wounded in Afghanistan

The American Legion Post 261 will host two special fundraisers on Saturday and Sunday for SPC Ryan Price, who was wounded during a mission in Afghanistan.
Price lost both legs and the funds will help build an addition to his parent's home in Nuevo, Calif., for better wheelchair access and mobility.

The American Legion Post 261 will host two special fundraisers on Saturday and Sunday for SPC Ryan Price, who was wounded during a mission in Afghanistan.
Price lost both legs and the funds will help build an addition to his parent's home in Nuevo, Calif., for better wheelchair access and mobility.
Cost is a $7 donation. The dinner will also feature live entertainment from a disc jockey and Sal Cucinella, an Elvis impersonator.
Tickets are limited. Adults only and no alcohol permitted. For tickets, call Leonora Allen at (626)579-6982 or Douglas Reyes at (323) 206-8945.
A carwash will also be held from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at Post 261. Donations will be accepted.
What a great way to help one of America's finest. God Bless the American Legion and Auxilliary for all the hard work they do for our veterans and their families.
ReplyDeleteFreedom is not free and it is because of the bravery and valor of SPC Price that this great nation is secure and safe today. Thank you SPC Price and all of our men and women who wear this county's uniform. May God continue to shed His grace on this land.
The Crystal C. Chavez Foundation will be making a contribution to this nobel cause.
This look like a great event to attend. I'll be there.
